I’ve been watching the new website releases to observe the trends and when it’s about menus, I’ve noticed that designers are more keen on insisting on typography, rather than creative buttons for the menu. This is happening mostly because now you can use easily a custom font for a menu with @font-face or Cufon. However, this doesn’t mean that menus with buttons are not used anymore. There are a few cases that I’ve presented here that look pretty good.
I hope that you will use these 50 website menu designs as guidelines for your future projects. I’ll publish more examples probably in a month or two. I have enough new sites with interesting menus for inspiration that I could make a gallery only for this so you’ll have new menu design inspiration soon.
